Rainforest hikes, ocean swims and snorkeling are intermingled with relaxing beach times, luxurious hot tub soaks, and more. The tour allows one the freedom to venture off as desired for solitude or additional activities.

Expect: aloha spirit and wellbeing, turquoise ocean water and colorful fish, delicious food, rainforest hiking and waterfall magic, fun and play, avocado spa nurturing and sunny beach time, a refreshed soul and rainbows, deep relaxation and self connection on this refreshing journey for the soul.

Food on this tour:
Eve provides a fresh organic vegetable and fish coconut stew on jasmine rice for your first evening meal, and a light breakfast  each morning. You will be at choice for your other meals; for the other evenings of the tour, there are excellent island restaurant dinner arrangements, in moderately priced but elegant cafés with delicious foods and a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian selections. You may choose to buy your meals at the restaurants, or to shop at local health food or grocery stores for your dinner meals. You will need to shop in Hilo after your flight and before you drive to the lodgings for snack foods and lunch items for day 2 and day 3 of the tour, we have a café lunch planned for day 4, and we will make a stop in the Kona area for more food and picnic supplies on day 5 for the remaining days of the tour.

Contact Eve to schedule a tour of your own, or to inquire about the
prescheduled small group tours she holds each year.

Here is a sample 7-day Tour Itinerary.
Actual tour itineraries may differ, due to weather, seasonal availability, or spontaneous group consensus.

Day 1: Relax after your flight at an elegant natural retreat center, nestled into the rainforest near the home of Pelé, the volcano goddess. Let go of mainland concerns and begin to attune to nature in your lovely guest house. Eve will prepare a fish and organic vegetable coconut stew with jasmine rice for your nourishing supper this first evening. Soak in the hottubs in the rainforest garden before and/or after supper for a good night's rest.
Day 2: After a leisurely morning of journaling , reading and soaking in the hotubs and a light breakfast of tropical fruits, fresh baked goods and island coffee or tea, we will hike through the rainforest, down into a misty inactive volcano crater to explore, and perhaps make an offering of thanks to the goddess Pelé. We hike back out of the crater through the rainforest and head back to the retreat guest houses for more relaxation before a dinner at the local Thai restaurant.
Day 3: Relax at the rainforest retreat this morning and prepare for a leisurely drive to a magical south kona black sand beach. We will picnic en route for lunch today and relax on the beach, snorkel and settle into our new accommodations. If dolphins are in the mood to join us, this is an excellent safe bay to swim in with them; if they do not grace us with their joyous presences because they are playing elsewhere or not in the mood for human company, we will enjoy the beautiful snorkeling and body surfing at this sweet and special beach. We will have a late supper at an elegant local café.
Day 4: We have a light island breakfast and head to a turquoise sparkling lava beach today for some of the best snorkeling on the planet!! Colorful fish surround us as we relax in the amazing light and blueness of the clear ocean water. This is another place I have enjoyed many dolphin swims, so we have another opportunity to swim with them if they are so inclined. We have a late lunch at a nearby café and after journey to a hot tub garden to soak after swimming you may also arrange for a massage at this garden healing center. Dinner is late this evening as well at another truly wonderful local café.
Day 5: We travel to the north part of the island today for a beach spa day after we check in to our bed and breakfast and shop for lunch picnic items.
Our beach spa day would not be complete without island avocado and sand exfoliation skin treatments; ahhhhhhh! Relax and play on a secluded, sandy sunny beach today after a gentle hike along the shoreline forest path. This is a very gentle bay; a good day to bring a book to read and just to relax, swim and picnic on the beach.
We dine later tonite at an upscale yummy café!
Day 6: Awaken for a more envigorating wonderful day hike to a luscious goddess sacred waterfall. A few miles of walking across fields and into a forest path that leads us to a cleansing luminous waterfall; another wonderful place to offer a flower or other natural gift for the island goddess. A wonderful deep silence fills me after this journey, a deep peace - is a wonderful waterfall that flows into a river that meets the sea. . . release what you no longer need into the flow of the water and refill and replenish here.
We will stop for sushi at a lovely gourmet café before we relax at our bed and breakfast.
Day 7: An early morning Ocean valley hike completes our tour; schedule a late flight out so you may linger on your journey back to Hilo, filled with blessings of aloha.
